AUTODIA becomes a member of GESAC
Greek collecting society AUTODIA has become the 33rd member of GESAC. The decision was voted on unanimously by other member societies at the our general meeting on 21 November.
AUTODIA CEO Yiannis Stathakopoulous said: “This is an important milestone for AUTODIA as it seeks to operate to the highest European and International standards and bring much needed stability to the Greek market. It looks forward to contributing to GESAC’s vital mission to advocate for adequate remuneration for creators and promote collective management as the best solution to respect and protect authors’ rights. It’s important that, through GESAC, EU policymakers understand the perspective of creators from Greece and across Europe.”
